OLGU SUNUMU: SAFRA KESESİ SKUAMÖZ HÜCRELİ KARSİNOMU

Safra kesesi kanserleri, gastrointestinal sistemin nadir tümörlerindendir. Sıklıkla adeno-kanserler görülürken küçük bir oranı oluşturan skuamöz hücreli tümörler daha agresifseyir gösterirler. Safra kesesi tümörleri ile taş varlığı ilişkilendirilmeye çalışılmış ise de gösterilememiştir ve taşsız safra kesesi kanserlerine de rastlanmaktadır. Uzun sağkalım vehastalıksız yaşam süreleri ancak erken tanı ve cerrahi tedavi ile sağlanabilmektedir. Busunumumuzda, taşsız porselen safra kesesi nedeniyle opere edilen skuamöz hücreli karsinom olgusu literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

Case Report: Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Gallbladder

Gallbladder cancers are among the rare gastrointestinal system tumors. Adenocancers arethe mostly encountered one s however squamous cell carsinomas consisting less amounthave more aggressive clinical course. Studies to correlate gallbladder tumors with theexistence of stone failed to show such a correlation and gallbladder tumor occurrencewithout gallstone has been shown. Long and disease free survival can be justified only byearly diagnosis and surgical treatment. This case was oparated with diagnosis of porcelainglad bladder without stone formation but pathology confirmed it to be squamous cellcarcinoma.
