Musa Qasimli, USSR-Turkey: From the Coup d’état to Collapse (1980-1991)

Chapter 7 of the book is devoted to Gorbachev’s ascent to power. Mikhail Gor- bachev is widely known for his so-called ‘New Thinking’ in international rela- tions and for his famous Perestroika.
