Beslenme ve Diyetetik Eğitim Öğretiminin Standardizasyonu
Son yıllarda ülkemizde Beslenme ve Diyetetik bölümlerinin sayılarının hızla artması, Beslenme ve Diyetetik lisans eğitiminin özellikle müfredat, staj ve saha uygulamaları, araştırma imkanları ve akademik kadro yeterlilikleri alanlarında farklılıkları beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu durum Beslenme ve Diyetetik programının öğrenim çıktılarının karşılanması ve mezunlardan beklenen profesyonel yeterliliklerin sağlanması açısından risk oluşturmaktadır. Bununla birlikte Beslenme ve Diyetetik programlarının mezun ettiği diyetisyenlerin temel bilgi, beceri ve yeterlilikleri gösterebilmesi için, içerik ve yetkinliklerinin uluslararası düzeyde kabul gören temel esaslar çerçevesinde, ulusal düzeyde standardize edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede, Beslenme ve Diyetetik eğitiminde standardizasyon veya eğitiminin standardizasyonu için özellikle Avrupa'da önerilen çalışmalara odaklanılmıştır.
Standardization of Nutrition and Dietetics Programs
Increasing number of Nutrition and Dietetics undergraduate programs in Turkey has led to significant variations in Nutrition and Dietetics education, especially, in terms of curriculum, tutorials, practices, placements, research opportunities and competency of academic staff. This causes a challenge for meeting the learning outcomes of the Nutrition and Dietetics program and providing the competency for a dietitian. However, Nutrition and Dietetics programs should provide the minimum level or baseline of knowledge, skills, understanding and competence of a Dietitian at the point of qualification in national level with the reference of the international guidelines. This review focused on the guidelines developed for the standardisation of Nutrition and Dietetics programs mainly in Europe.
