Bariatrik Cerrahisi Sonrası Gebelik: Bir Olgu Sunumu
Obezite yaygınlığı giderek artan küresel bir sağlık sorunudur. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü, kadınlarda erkeklerden daha fazla oranda görülen obeziteyi, bir salgın olarak değerlendirmektedir. Özellikle yüksek beden kütle indeksine (BKİ) sahip çok sayıda gebe kadın görülmektedir. Gebelik süresince gözlenen obezite, birçok komplikasyonla ilişkili olduğu için yüksek riskli bir durum olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bariatrik cerrahi ağırlık kaybı ve kronik hastalıkların tedavisinde en etkili yoldur. Bariatrik cerrahi sonrası tüm hastalar, mikro besin ögesi eksikliğini önlemek vitamin ve mineral takviyesi almak zorundadır. Bariatrik cerrahi ameliyatı geçiren gebe kadınlar için bu besin ögelerinin gereksinimleri daha da artar ve önem kazanır. Bu olgu sunumunda bariatrik cerrahi ameliyatı sonrası gebelikte beslenme stratejileri tartışılmıştır
A Case Report: Pregnancy After Bariatric Surgery
Obesity is a global health problem that is increasing in prevalence. The World Health Organization characterizes obesity as a pandemic issue, with a higher prevalence in females than males. Thus, many pregnant patients are seen with high body mass index (BMI). Obesity during pregnancy is considered a high-risk state because it is associated with many complications. Bariatric surgery is the most effective way for obesity and cronic dieases. All patients after bariatric surgery have to take vitamins and microelements which prevent micronutrients’ deficiency. Pregnant women have an increased requirement for microelements and vitamins, while in those who have undergone bariatric procedures it is even more important.
