Application of Incomplete Cylindrical Functions in the Diffraction ofa Gaussian Beam by a System of Equiareal Circular Sectors

Application of incomplete cylindrical functions in the diffraction of Gaussian beam by a system of equiareal circular sectors is presented in this work. It is shown that incomplete cylindrical functions lead to the solution of the diffraction problem by a grid containing N equal transparent circular sectors. The diffraction pattern is observed on a parallel plane screen separated by a distance z from the plane of the obstacle. The problem is treated in polar coordinates   on the plane of the diffraction obstacle, and  ,r  on the plane of the diffraction obstacle, and  ,  
