Harran Ovası koşullarında pamukta farklı ekim tarihlerinin Thrips tabaci lind.(Thysanoptera:Tyripidae)'nin populasyon gelişimine etkisinin belirlenmesi

Harran Ovası pamuk alanlarında erken dönemde ana zararlı olan Thrips tabaci'ye karşı alternatif mücadele yöntemleri içerisinde ekim tarihlerinin etkisini belirleyebilmek için bu çalışma 1997 ye 1999 yıllarında Koruklu'da yürütülmüştür. Ekim tarihleri bölge için erken, normal ve geç olarak ayarlanmıştır. Sonuçta, T. tabaci popülasyonunun pamuk alanlarında ekim tarihinden büyük oranda etkilendiği, geç ekilen pamuk alanlarında popülasyonun çok düşük düzeyde kaldığı belirlenmiştir. Enterge Mücadele Kavramı (IPM) içerisinde ekim tarihindeki gecikmeden T. tabaci'nin zararını önlemede yararlanılabileceği kanısına varılmıştır.

The effect of different sowing dates to population develepment of Thrips tabaci lind.(Thysanoptera:Tyripidae) in Harran conditions

This study was carried out in 1997 and 1999 to determine of effect of sowing dates as an alternative control methods on Thrips tabaci population which is the main pest in the early stage of cotton in Harran Plain Sowing date were adjusted as early, normal and late for the region. As a result of experiment it was found that the effect of sowing date is important of T. tabaci population and very low level of population was found in the late sowing date. These results showed that late sowing can be use as an effective control methods of T. tabaci in the IPM studies on cotton
