Doğu Anadolu Kırmızısı ve Melezi Sığırların Büyüme Hormonu Geni Genetik Varyasyonunun İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde farklı çiftliklerde yetiştirilen yerli gen kaynağı olarak korunan Doğu Anadolu Kırmızısı (DAK) yerli sığır ırkı (N=76) ve melezlerinde (51) Büyüme Hormonu (bGH) geni AluI polimorfizmi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada AluI enzimi uygulanan sığır Büyüme Hormonu genine ait üç genotip (LL, LV ve VV) PCR-RFLP metodu kullanılarak tanımlanmıştır. L allel frekansı saf DAK’da 0.78, melezlerinde ise 0.79 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Üç genotipin dağılımı saf DAK’larda; LL %59, LV %37 ve VV %4, ve melezlerde ise LL %63, LV %33 ve VV %4 şeklinde olmuştur. İncelenen populasyonların CHW dengesinde oldukları gözlendi.
