J.M.Coetzee ve Fikir Romanı Geleneği / J.M.Coetzee and the Tradition of Novel of Ideas
Ö Z E TTanımlanması güç bir roman türü olarak var olan fikir romanı, özellikle modernistromanın ortaya çıkışıyla birlikte gelişim gösteren bir roman türü olarak algılansada, fikir romanlarının tarihi ilk romanlara kadar, hatta Platon’un Diyaloglar’ınakadar uzatılabilir. Fikir tartışmasını anlatının öne çıkan unsuruna dönüştüren butür romanlar, çağdaş dönemde de romancılar tarafından üretilen eserler olmayadevam etmişlerdir. Nobel ödüllü yazar J. M. Coetzee’nin özellikle son dönemeserleri, tartıştıkları sıklıkla radikal fikirlerle çağdaş fikir romanlarına iyi birerörnek oluşturmaktadırlar.Anahtar Kelimeler: fikir romanı, J. M. Making debates of ideas a prominent element ofnarration, such novels have continued to be produced by the novelists incontemporary period. Especially late novels of J.M.Coetzee set good examples forthe contemporary novels of ideas with the ideas, often of radical nature, theydebate and discuss.Keywords: Novel of ideas, J. M.
