Bu çalışma, Merkez Ordusu Kumandanı Nureddin Paşa'mn Pontus ayaklanmasının iç yüzü ve bu hareketin bastırılmasıyla ilgili alınan tedbirler hakkında, Tevhid-i Efkâr gazetesinin Anadolu hususi muhabiriyle yaptığı bir görüşmeyi içermektedir. Nureddin Paşa, bu görüşme sırasında Karadeniz bölgesinde bir Pontus Rum Devleti kurmak amacıyla hareket eden Pontus Cemiyeti ve diğer Rum cemiyetlerinin faaliyetlerini, Yunan Ordusu ve din adamlarının Pontus davasında oynadıkları rolü, Milli hükümetin Karadeniz sahillerini savaş bölgesi ilan etmesinin nedenlerini ve zorunluluk arz eden askeri tedbirleri açıklamış, konuyla ilgili verdiği tüm bilgileri belgelendirmiştir.

This study includes the interview Nureddin Pasha, the Commander of Central Army, made with a private journalist of the newspaper Tevhid-i Efkâr about the innerside of the revolt of Pontus and the precautions taken to supress this revolt. During this interview Nureddin Pasha has given information about the Pontus Organization which aimed to establish a state of Pontus Greek in the Blacksea Region, and the activities of the other Greek organizations as well as the role played by Greek Army and the men of religion in the issue of Pontus. He has explained the military precautions which had to be taken and the reasons leading the National Government to declare the Blacksea Region as the region of war, and he has presented documents supporting all the information he has given.
