Doruk Yayınları’ndan çıkan Bilimin Sineması, çıkış noktasını alt başlıkta okuyucuya sunuyor: “Postmodern Bilim, Bilimkurguyu Nasıl Değiştirdi?” Yazar Emre Doğan’ın 2021 yılında Postmodern Dönemde Bilimsel Bilginin Başkalaşımı ve Amerikan Bilim Kurgu Sineması adıyla kabul edilen doktora tezine dayanan Bilimin Sineması, temel üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Her ana bölüm kendi içerisinde alt başlıklara ayrılarak derinleştirilmiştir. Bilimsel bilgi ile bilimkurgunun ilişkisini incelemek hedefiyle ve Amerikan bilimkurgu filmlerinin ne şekilde ve ne oranda bilim felsefesinden ve postmodern dönemle beraber dönüşen bilimsel bilgiden etkilendiği sorgulamasıyla yola çıkan yazar Emre Doğan, araştırmaları sonucunda elde ettiği bulguları okuyucuyla paylaşmıştır. Bu anlamda uzun soluklu bir araştırmanın çıktısı olan Bilimin Sineması, kapsamlı içeriğini akıcı bir dille sunarak okuyucusunu bilimsel bilgiye ve bilimkurguya dair bir keşifte olma hissiyle baş başa bırakmaktadır.

Published by Doruk Publications, Cinema of Science presents its starting point to the reader under the subtitle: "How Postmodern Science Changed Science Fiction?" The Cinema of Science, based on the doctoral thesis of the author Emre Doğan, which was accepted in 2021 as The Metamorphosis of Scientific Knowledge in the Postmodern Era and American Science Fiction Cinema, consists of three main parts. Each main section has been deepened by dividing it into sub-headings. Emre Doğan, who set out with the aim of examining the relationship between scientific knowledge and science fiction, and questioning how and to what extent American science fiction films were influenced by the philosophy of science and scientific knowledge transformed with the postmodern period, shared the findings he obtained as a result of his research with the reader. In this sense, the output of a long-term research, Cinema of Science, presents its comprehensive content in a fluent language, leaving the reader with the feeling of being on a discovery about scientific knowledge and science fiction.
