Current Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment for Meniere's Disease

Meniere's disease is an inner ear disease characterized by spontaneous episodic Vertigo attacks, usually unilateral fluctuating hearing loss, aural fullness and tinnitus. Although the symptoms are well known, the diagnosis of the disease is difficult still today. The certain diagnosis can be made only with postmortem histopathological examination and the treatment vary some differences between the clinics. In this article, we present the recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Meniere's disease by reviewing new guidelines and meta-analysis studies.
