Kültepe’den Bir Metne Göre Asur Bölgesinde Yaşanan Bir İsyan ve Anadolu’daki Diğer İsyanlarla İlgili Kayıtlar

Asurlu tüccarların özel arşivlerinde ele geçirilen Kültepe tabletleri, doğaları gereği, çoğunlukla ticari ya da ekonomik içeriklidir. Ancak bu belgeler Anadolu’nun ilk tarihi döneminin sosyal, kültürel, siyasi vb yönlerinin öğrenildiği temel kaynaklardır. Tüccarlar özellikle ticari aktiviteleri etkilendiğinde veya meslektaşlarını ya da akrabalarını bilgilendirmek ve/veya onları uyarmak amacıyla, bulundukları bölgelerde meydana gelen siyasi gelişmeleri de zaman zaman belgelerinde konu etmişlerdir. Siyasi olaylar bakımından, isyan hareketleri belgelere daha çok yansımıştır. Burada tanıttığımız belgede de Asur çevresinde meydana gelmiş bir isyan konu edilmiştir. Ünlü tüccar Uṣur-ša-İštar’ın arşivinde ele geçen bu metinde kayıtlı söz konusu isyanın Asur şehri ile Qaṭṭara şehirleri arasında bir bölgede, muhtemelen Kaniš’in II. tabakasının sonuna doğru bir zamanda meydana geldiği anlaşılmaktadır.

A Rebellion in the Territory of Assur according to a Kültepe Text and the Records about other Rebellions Took Place inside Anatolia

Kültepe texts, which have been discovered in the private archives of Assyrian traders, are generally and naturally contain commercial or economic issues. On the other hand, these documents are the main written sources of information about the social, cultural and political aspects of the first historic period of Anatolia. When trading activities of merchants infected badly from some certain political events, which took place in whereabouts, the traders sometimes mentioned about this kind of events mostly in their letters to inform and/or warn their colleagues or relatives. In terms of political events, revolts are the most commonly attested cases in the texts. The document which is being introduced here mentions about a rebellion that took place in the vicinity of Assur. It is clear from the texts, which was discovered in the archive of well-known trader Uṣur-ša-Ištar, this event happened somewhere between the cities of Assur and Qaṭṭara, probably on a date at the end of the IInd level of Kaniš.
