AIM: Obesity has become an important health problem all over the world and is increasing gradually. Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) has become an accepted method as the first-line surgery in the treatment of obesity all over the world. In this study, we evaluated the postoperative first year gastroscopy results of the patients we performed LSG in the light of the literature and discussed the necessity of postoperative control gastroscopy.
