Cone Beam Computed Tomography In Dentistry Cbct ”

Imaging methods are quite important in terms of diagnosis and treatment at dentistry. Since the discovery of X-rays with the advance in technology, there has been significant progress in image acquisition. In addition to conventional methods, three dimensional images 3D were obtained after production of computed tomography and using in dentistry. Different sections of these images were obtained with computer software, examining all aspects of the objects spatially is provided. Cone beam computed tomographies CBCT taking sections at shorter intervals to obtain detailed and clear images and these sections combined and colored on computer three-dimensional images are obtained. Due to the wide possibilities CBCT has been wide application area at endodontic treatment, orthodonti, craniomaxillofacial surgery, pediatric dentistry, prothetic treatment and implantology
