Bir köpekte malign melanom olgusu

Çalışmada Terrier ırkı,16 yaşlı, dişi bir köpekte dil kökünde (radix linguae) saptanan melanom olgusu makroskobik ve mikroskobik bulgularına göre tanımlandı. Makroskobik olarak; dil kökünde yerleşmiş olan kitle 5x3x2 cm boyutlarında, 25 gr ağırlı-ğında, elastik kıvamlı olup kesit yüzü kahverengiydi. Mikroskobik incelemede; Lamina propria’da gruplar şekillendirmiş, uniform yapıda, sitoplazmalarında bol miktarda melanin pigmenti içeren melanositler ile az sayıda dev hücresi ve mitotik figürler gözlendi.

Malignant melanoma in a dog

In the case, melonama was described on radix linguae with macroscopical and a microscopical findings in a 16 year-old, female Terrier dog. Macroscopically; the mass which located on radix linguae was measured as 5x3x2 cm and weighted as 25 g, elastic consistency and had a brown. In microscopic examination; uniform structured melanocytes, containing plenty of melanin pigment in their cytoplasms and forming groups in lamina propria with a few giant cells and mitotic figures were observed.
