Genel Cerrahi Polikliniğine Başvuran Normal Kilolu ve Obez Hastalarda Obezite Prevelans ve Farkındalık Çalışması

Amaç: Çalışmamızda genel cerrahi polikliniğine başka sebeplerle başvuran normal kilolu ve obez hastaların; obezite hastalığı hakkında ne kadar bilgisahibi olduğunu ortaya koymayı, farkındalığını tespit etmeyi ve obezite prevelansını bulmayı hedefledik.Gereç ve Yöntem: Genel cerrahi kliniğine başvuran 18 yaş ve üzeri hastalardan kapalı ortamda yüz yüze görüşme metodu ile evet-hayır şeklindecevaplar içeren 23 soruluk daha önceden araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket formu doldurularak obezite ile ilişkili epidemiyolojik riskfaktörleri ve obeziteye eşlik edebilecek sağlık sorunları ile ilgili cevaplar alındı. Obesity Awareness and Prevalance Study: Patients Admitted to General Surgery Outpatient Clinic

Objectives: In our study, we aimed to reveal prevalence of obesity, obesity knowledge and awareness in normal weight and obese patients who applied to the general surgery outpatient clinic for different reasons. Materials and Methods: The questionnaire containing 23 yes-no questions, which was previously prepared by researchers, was filled in and answers were received regarding epidemiological risk factors associated with obesity and health problems that may accompany obesity.
