Endoscopic treatment of simultaneously detected fibroepithelial polyps of ureter and bladder
Üriner sistemin fibroepitelyal polipleri ender görülen ve günümüzde endoskopik olarak tedaviedilen iyi huylu tümörlerdir. Endoskopik tedavi küçük boyutlu polipler için altı n standart olarakkabul edilmekle birlikte, büyük boyutlu poliplerin tedavisi hakkı nda kesin bir görü ș birli ğ i yoktur. Burada sistoskopi esnası nda mesane ve üreterde e șzamanl ı olarak tespit edilen fibropitelyalpolipleri olan vakam ı z ı ve üreterdeki 7 cm uzunlu ğ undaki polipin holmium:YAG laser ile endoskopik olarak ç ı kartı lmas ı n ı tarifliyoruz.

Fibroepithelial polyps of the urinary tract are rare benign tumors that usually treated withendoscopically today. Endoscopic treatment have been regarded as the gold standart for smalllesions, while the management modality for long lesion is stil controversial. We report a case ofsimultaneous fibroepithelial polyps of bladder and ureter which is incidentally detected oncystoscopy. We review our experience with ureteroscopic management of long (7 cm) ureteralfibroepithlial polyp by holmium: yttrium- aluminum- garnet (YAG) laser resection.
