Bir özneleştirme alanı olarak sivil toplum

Sivil toplum kavramı, egemenlik ile arasındaki ilişki doğrultusunda anlam kazanmaktadır. Bu çerçeveden bakıldığında sivil toplum, bir yanıyla egemenin münhasır yetkilerini sınırlandıran bir unsur işlevi görürken, bir yandan da egemenin kendi etkinlik alanını tanımlama sürecinin araçlarından birisi olarak belirmektedir. Egemenlik alanının tanımlanması süreci, siyasal ve toplumsal alanın öznelerinin tanımlanması ile paralel biçimde ilerlediği için sivil toplum alanı bir özneleştirme alanı olarak okunabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada da sivil toplum kavramı ve kavramın vaat ettiği etkinlik alanı, egemenliği taşıyacak öznelerin belirlenmesi ve bu öznelerin müesses nizamı yeniden üretecek statüler ve haklar gibi araçlarla donatılması süreci üzerinden ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmanın nihai amacı, siyasal bir araç olarak sivil toplumun devlet egemenliği karşısındaki özgürleştiricilik iddiasının sınanmasıdır

Civil society as a sphere of subjectivation

The concept of çivil society gains its distinctive meaning within iğts relationality with sovereignity. From this perspective, the concept becomes revealed as a two-faceted device which in one hand limits the authority of the sovereign and in the other hand, serves the sovereign to define its sphere of sovereignity. For the process of defining the sphere of sovereignity goes in parallel with the process of defining the subjects of social and political sphere, the concept of civil society can be examined as a sphere of subjectivation. In this study, the concept of civil society as with the sphere of activity promised by the concept has been analysed through the process of identifying the subjects which will port the sovereignity and entailing these subjects with status and rights in order to reproduce the established order. The ultimate objective of the study is to test the liberatory claim of the çivil society as a political device against the state sovereignity.
