Çocuklarda Dilin Değerlendirilmesi: Betimleyici Yaklaşım

Dilde gecikme veya dil bozukluğu olan çocuklar için erken tanı, değerlendirme ve eğitimin önemini gösteren bir çok çalışma yapılmıştır. Dilin değerlendirilmesinde kullanılan farklı yaklaşımlar vardır. Dil değerlendirmesinin amacı sadece dil sorunu olan çocukları tanılama değil, çocuğun sorununun yapısını ve dilini tanımlamaktır. Bu yazıda, dilin değerlendirilmesinde önemli bir yaklaşım olarak betimleyici yaklaşım ve bazı ölçüt-bağımlı işlemler incelenmiştir.

Language Assessment in Children: Descriptive Approach

There have been a number of studies that have reported the importance of early assessment and intervention for language delayed or disordered children. There are different assessment approaches. The goals of language assessment are to identify language disordered children and describe the child’s language performance. This article provides a review about the descriptive approach and criterion-referenced tasks.
