Through the writings of Ortega y Gasset about "Economy Principle in Teaching" and "The mission of the University", this article discusses the point of view of Ortege to the university and the teachin system in the university. The article also argues the ideas of Ortega such as the connection between economy and pedagogy and the university do not accomplish its mission for the mediocre people. Ortega defends that the mission of the university is to discuss to teaching what and how. One of the most important philosophers of the last century Ortega while discusses the problems, also tries to find a solution.
