Can exposure to chemicals and physical factors alter the sex ratio at birth?

In terms of observing the reproductive health of the population, the sex ratio at birth (number of male children/number of female children) is an important factor. Differences in birth sex ratios and changes in the genres have been a curiosity for researchers for many years. The difference observed in a small group after exposure to one or more chemical and physical factors over time was compared to the population to which that group belonged and interesting results were found. However, many hypotheses to explain the changing sex ratio have not been proven. There are studies investigating the effects of environmental industrial pollutants (polychlorobiphenyls, tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin, dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene, heavy metals), physicochemical (radiation) and physical (high temperature, G-force) and high concentrations of boron exposure on the sex ratio. In this review, some cases that are thought to affect the sex ratio have been mentioned
