Bahçelievler Kemik Buluntuları: MÖ 8. Binyıl Sonundan 7. Binyıl Sonuna Yerleşmedeki Davranışlar ve Eğilimler

Kuzeybatı Anadolu’da, Bilecik şehir merkezinde konumlanan Bahçelievler, MÖ 8. binyıl sonundan başlayarak bin yıllık süre zarfında iskân görmüş Neolitik bir yerleşimdir. Yerleşmede üç sezon boyunca yürütülen kurtarma kazıları, bölgede yaşam sürmüş Neolitik topluluklara dair bilgileri yeni verilerle güncellemiştir. Araştırmalar süresince 114 adet işlenmiş kemik ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, toplam sayı arasından seçilen 78 adet kemik buluntu teknik ve sosyal açıdan analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar üzerinden yerleşmedeki temin, yapım ve olası kullanıma dair davranışlar ile uzun bir süredeki eğilimler tartışılmıştır.

BAHCELIEVLER WORKED BONES: BEHAVIORS AND TRENDS IN THE SETTLEMENT FROM THE END OF THE 8TH MILLENNIUM TO THE END OF THE 7TH MILLENNIUM BC

Bahcelievler, located in the city centre of Bilecik in northwestern Anatolia, is a Neolithic settlement which was inhabited for a continuous period of one thousand years, commencing from the end of the 8th millennium BC. The outcomes of three seasons of salvage excavations conducted at Bahçelievler have significantly enhanced our understanding of Neolithic communities in the region. The excavations yielded 114 worked bones, 78 of which were analyzed from both technical and social perspectives in this study. The findings shed light on procurement, manufacturing, and hypothetical utilization behaviours within the settlement, and long-term trends. The results of this study provide an opportunity to discuss the aforementioned topics and their implications for the settlement.
