Frontal lobe syndrome: Two case reports

One of the entities in neuropsychiatry that can mimic various disorders and thus cause confusion in differential diagnosis is Frontal Lobe Syndrome, which also can follow head traumas. The manifestation of the illness is organic personality disorder. Chronic nature of this disorder and its resistance to traditional treatment methods are troublesome both for clinicians and the care-givers. In this review, two cases are presented and the causes, the clinical characteristics, differential diagnosis and treatment of frontal Lobe Syndrome are discussed.
