Şizofreninin Klinik Özelliklerinin Obsesif– Kompülsif Bozukluk Eş Tanısı ve Obsesif– Kompülsif Semptomlarla İlişkisi

Amaç: Şizofrenide komorbid obsesif–kompülsif semptom (OKS) ve obsesif–kompülsif bozukluk (OKB)görülme sıklığı yüksektir. Bu çalışmada şizofreni hastalarında OKS/OKB eş tanısının sosyodemografik veklinik özellikler ile ilişkisini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya Dışkapı Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Psikiyatri Polikliniği’ne başvuran 280 şizofreni hastası dahil edilmiştir. Hastalara Kısa Psikiyatrik Değerlendirme Ölçeği (KPDÖ), PozitifSemptomları Değerlendirme Ölçeği (PSDÖ), Negatif Semptomları Değerlendirme Ölçeği (NSDÖ), CalgaryŞizofrenide Depresyon Ölçeği (CŞDÖ), Yale Brown Obsesyon–Kompülsiyon Ölçeği (YBOKÖ) ve İşlevselliğin Genel Değerlendirmesi (İGD) uygulanmıştır. OKB eş tanısı olan ve olmayan hastalar ile eşik altı OKS’siolan ve olmayan hastaların sosyodemografik ve klinik özellikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. The Relationship of Clinical Characteristics of Schizophrenia with Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder Comorbidity and Obsessive–Compulsive Symptoms

Aim: There is a high prevalence of comorbid obsessive–compulsive symptoms (OCSs) and obsessive– compulsive disorder (OCD) in patients with schizophrenia. In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between OCS/OCD comorbidity and sociodemographic and clinical characteristics in patients with schizophrenia. Materials and Methods: The study included 280 patients with schizophrenia who visited the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic of the Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital. The patients were evaluated using the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS), Scale for the Assessment of Positive Symptoms (SAPS), Scale for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS), Calgary Depression Scale for Schizophrenia (CDSS), Yale Brown Obsessive–Compulsive Scale (YBOCS), and Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF).
