Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Kamu İşyerlerinde Mobbing Olgusu: Sendikaların Rolü Üzerine Nitel Bir Araştırma

İşyerinde çalışan bir kişi ya da kişileri rahatsız edici, ahlak dışı ve sistematik taciz olarak tanımlanan mobbing, günümüzde çalışma hayatı açısından önemli bir sorunum işaret etmektedir. Üyerinin iş yerindeki çalışma ortamının iyileştirilmesi için önemli roller üstlenen sendikaların, mobbing gibi ciddi bir problem konusunda da aktif rol almaları beklenmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti (KKTC) kamu iş yerlerinde yetkili sendikaların mobbingin engellenmesi konusundaki rollerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak kamuda yetkili yedi sendika yönetici ile mülakat yapılmış, veriler tematik analize tabi tutularak mobbing olgusuna yönelik tematik harita hazırlanmış ve bulgular tartışılmıştır.

Mobbing in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Public Workplace: A Qualitative Research on the Role of Unions

Mobbing, defined as immoral and systematic harassment by a person or a group of people in the workplace, is an important problem in terms of working life today. It is expected that trade unions, who play an important role in improving the work environment of their members, should take an active role in a serious problem such as mobbing. The aim of this study is to reveal the roles of the authorized trade unions in public offices of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in preventing the mobbing. For this purpose, interviews were made with seven union officials who were authorized in the public workplaces; data obtained were subjected to thematic analysis and a thematic map was prepared for the case of mobbing. Lastly, the findings were discussed.
