Kardiyada kitleyle kendini gösteren mide tüberkülozu olgusu

Tüberküloz enfeksiyonunda mide tutulumu oldukça nadir olup, genel- likle akciğer tüberkülozuna sekonder veya immün yetmezlik durumla- rında ortaya çıkar. Burada başka organda aktif tüberkülozu olmayan, yutma güçlüğü ve göğüs ağrısıyla kliniğimize müracaat eden, kardiyada malign kitle ön tanısıyla cerrahiye verilen; ancak, alınan frozen biyopsi- de tüberküloz tanısı konulan ve tedavi sonrası tamamen düzelen vaka sunulmuştur.

Gastric involvement in tuberculosis infection is very uncommon, and it is usually associated with pulmonary tuberculosis or immune deficiency conditions. A patient without known active tuberculosis was admitted to our clinic for evaluation of dysphagia and chest pain. She then un- derwent surgery for tumor located in the cardia. Frozen biopsy of the tumor was compatible with tuberculosis. Complete improvement was observed after anti-tuberculosis therapy.
