Kaposi sarkomunun gastrointestinal tutulumu: Olgu sunumu

Kaposi sarkomu genellikle cildi tutan, sistemik multisentrik ve yavaş ilerleyen bir tümördür. Ekstrakutanöz Kaposi sarkomu en sık lenf düğümleri, gastrointestinal sistem ve akciğerleri tutar. Gastrointestinal traktın en sık tutulan yerleri arasında ise mide ve duodenum gelmektedir. Bu yazıda dispeptik şikayetleri nedeniyle yapılan üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisinde Kaposi sarkomu saptanan bir hasta sunulmuştur.

The gastrointestinal involvement of Kaposi's sarcoma

Kaposi's sarcoma is a slowly progressive systemic multicentric tumor which usually involves the skin. The extracutaneous Kaposi's sarcoma involves lymph nodes, gastrointestinal tract and lungs at most. The most commonly involved parts of the gastrointestinal tract are the stomach and the duodenum. In this article, we present a patient who was diagnosed as Kaposi's sarcoma by the upper gastrointestinal tract endoscopy that was performed because of dyspeptic complaints.
