The Concept of Culture in Social Sciences is a sophisticated evaluation study on culture, -one of the basic and important concepts of social sciences. The primary emphasis in the work is on the specificity of the concept of culture to social sciences. The concept was evaluated with emphasis on anthropology and sociology, which are among the social science fields where culture is used. In this work; the historical origin of the concept, the scientific approach to the concept, the rise of the concept, the culture and personality school formed in America, cultural contact, cultural acquisition, subculture, cultural hierarchies, culture and identity have been studied in depth.
