Spinal anestezi sonrası gelişen geçici tek taraflı ani işitme kaybı

Spinal anestezi sonrası işitme kaybı nadir görülen komplikasyonlardan biridir. Dural ponksiyon sonrası BOS kaçışı nedeniyle kohleada endolenfatik hidrops gelişmesi sonucu düşük frekansta işitme kaybının geliştiği öne sürülmektedir. Otolojik cerrahi olmayan işlemler sonrasında işitme kaybı oldukça nadirdir ve genellikle sadece odyometrik değerlendirme ile tespit edilebilir. Bu olgu ile elektif ön çapraz bağ cerrahisi için spinal anestezi uygulanan bir hastada postoperatif dönemde gelişen ani tek taraflı işitme kaybını ve iyileşme sürecini sunmayı amaçladık.

Transient unilateral sudden hearing loss after spinal anesthesia

Hearing loss after spinal anesthesia is one of the rare complications. It has been suggested that low frequent hearing loss develops after the development of endolymphatic hydrops in the cochlea due to CSF escape after dural puncture. Hearing loss after nonotologic surgical procedures is very rare and usually can only be determined by audiometric evaluation. We aimed to present the sudden unilateral hearing loss and healing process in a patient who underwent spinal anesthesia for elective anterior cruciate ligament surgery in this postoperative period.
