Fluorosis in Dentistry

Fluor is an element that is commonly found in the earth’s crust. Fluoride that is added into various dental products and drinking water has been proven to reduce occurrence of caries by extensive research. Dental fluorosis has been reported to be the only proven side effect of fluoride that is used for caries control. This review includes the issues such as etiology, pathogenesis, clinical aspects and classification of dental fluorosis
