Injury of Two Children Due to Electric Shock in Street And Construction Area: Case Report and Literature Review

Electric shock [ES] is type of trauma that can cause various injuries and death, also individuals who are affected from it, are considered as criminal cases. Present study is about disability of two reported children cases who were exposed to electric current and updated information of similar injuries in literature. Ten-year-old case was exposed to the trauma contacting the electrical cable in outdoor where public institution committing negligence defect, whereas the other sixteen-year-old patient was exposed to this trauma while working in construction area. The burn occurred in both cases, second one lost his extremity and both of them were discharged after making the necessary treatment. Both cases included in the current report are worth considering for they are ES cases, are children, were exposed to electric current, occurred as results of unwariness in an area of construction. and for the trauma they have exposed caused great injuries.
