Cinsel saldırgan profili

Cinsel saldırı günümüzde hızla artan ve en ciddi boyutlardaki şiddet suçlarından biridir. Bu durum araştırmacıları cinsel saldırın önlenmesi ve faillerin tedavisine yönelik çalışmalara yöneltmiştir. Suç önleme ve erken müdahale programlarının bir basamağını da suçlu profili ile suç ve mağdur özelliklerini tanımlama çalışmaları oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışmamızda cinsel saldırı suçundan hüküm giymiş cezaevi popülasyonunun genel karakteristiğinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma grubu Ocak - Ekim 2002 tarihleri arasında çocuğa ve yetişkine yönelik cinsel saldırı suçu nedeniyle (o dönemde yürürlükte olan 720 sayılı TCK 414. ve 416. maddelerinden) Bursa, İzmit, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, Çanakkale ve Balıkesir Kapalı Cezaevlerinde bulunan TCK 414. ve 416. maddelerinden hükümlü toplam 102 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Hükümlünün kriminal profilini belirleyebilmek için sosyo-demografik özellikler, suç bilgileri, suçun mağduru ile ilgili bilgiler ve suç geçmişine yönelik soruların yer aldığı bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda her iki grubun çoğunlukla ilk ve orta okul mezunu oldukları, küçük ve kapalı çevrede doğdukları, yarıya yakınının evli olduğu, çocuğa yönelik cinsel saldırıda bulunanların % 40.4'ünün, yetişkine yönelik cinsel saldırıda bulunanların %38'inin çocuk sahibi oldukları belirlenmiştir. Her iki grubunda neredeyse tamamına yakınının cezaevine girmeden önce düzenli düzenli bir işte çalıştıkları görülmüştür. Saldırıların çoğunlukla saldırganın, mağdurun veya bir tanıdığın ev veya işyerinde gerçekleştiği, grubun çoğunluğunun mağduru daha önceden tanıdığı anlaşılmaktadır. Cinsel saldırı esnasında çoğunlukla şiddetin kullanıldığı kullanılan şiddetin de en fazla fiziksel şiddet şeklinde olduğu ve saldırıların yarıdan fazlasının daha önceden planlanarak gerçekleştirildiği belirlenmiştir. Mağdurların %85'inin kadın, %15'inin erkek, çocuk mağdurların yaş ortalamasının 11.58 yaş (SD: 3.09 yaş), yetişkin mağdurların yaş ortalamasının 30.02 yaş (SD: 19.27 yaş) olduğu görülmektedir.

Sexual assailants profiles

Sexual assault is one of the rapidly increasing and most severe violent crimes. For many years this fact led scientists to research on prevention of sexual assaults and medical treatment of perpetrators. Studies on definition of criminal's profile, and characteristics of the crime and the victim, form one of the steps in the prevention of crime and early intervention programs. Therefore our study aimed to reveal the general characteristic of the prison population sentenced of sexual assaults. The research group consists of 102 persons sentenced regarding TCK article 414 and 416 for assaults towards children and adults, imprisoned in Bursa, İzmit, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kirklareli, Çanakkale and Balikesir Prisons. An interview form including questions on socio-demographic features, information about the crime, information about the victim, and information about crime history was used in order to establish the criminal profile of the convict. The outcomes of the study revealed that the majority of both groups consist of primary and secondary school graduates, born in small and closed neighborhoods, half oUhem were married, 40.4% of perpetrators of sexual assaults towards children, and 38% of perpetrators of sexual assaults towards adults had children. Nearly all of them were occupied and had a regular job before being imprisoned. The assaults occurred usually in the inhabitancy or office of the perpetrator, the victim or of < acquaintance, and the majority of the group was previously acquainted with the perpetrator. Violence w; performed in most of the cases, and the most frequently type of violence was physical violence. Mo than half of the assaults were committed by planning before. 85% of the victims were women, 15% we men. The average age of child victims was 11.58 (SD: 3.09 year of age), the average age of adult victir was 30.02 (SD: 19.27 year of age).
