Kılavuzda yer alan öneriler her laboratuvara uygun değildir.

STANDARDIZATION IN FORENSIC TOXICOLOGY LABORATORY

Quality assurance has an important role in forensic science discipline since it influences results of court. Standards and guidelines set up to assure quality of investigation in forensic toxicological analysis by recognized professional bodies in the United States, Europe and worldwide. This study is prepared to provide a viewpoint about existing standards and guidelines for forensic toxicology laboratory. These guidelines comprise of seven major chapters; personnel, specimen, laboratory organization, laboratory analysis procedures, quality assurance/control and interpretation of results. Suggestions which take part in guidelines are not available for every laboratory. However, these suggestions will help laboratories which are working in forensic toxicology to achieve future purposes.
