Amaç: Bu çal›flman›n amac› kal›c› epifizyodez olarak tan›mlanan Phemister tekni¤i ile stapler ile geçici epifizyodezi karfl›laflt›rmak ve staplerin ç›kar›lmas› sonras› epifiz pla¤› aktivitesinin derecesini radyolojik, sintigrafik ve histopatolojik olarak de¤erlendirirken, kemik sintigrafisinin beklenen fizis aktivitesi hakk›n- da bilgi verip vermeyece¤ini incelemek idi. Çal›flma plan›: Çal›flmada her bir grupta sekizer adet tavflan olacak flekilde üç grupta toplam 24 adet Ye- ni Zelanda tavflan› de¤erlendirildi. Birinci gruba Phemister tekni¤i ile epifizyodez, ikinci gruba stapler ile epifizyodez ve üçüncü gruba staplerler 3. hafta sonunda al›nacak flekilde stapler ile epifizyodez uygulan- d›. Üçüncü ve alt›nc› haftalarda tüm hayvanlar›n radyolojik ve sintigrafik bilgileri kaydedildi. Yine üçün- cü ve alt›nc› haftalarda hayvanlar›n uzuv uzunluklar› ölçüldü ve sintigrafik de¤erlendirme ile büyüme pla- ¤› aktivitesi kaydedildi. Kalitatif ve kantitatif yöntemler ile büyüme pla¤›n›n histopatolojik ölçümleri ya- p›ld›. Tüm veriler opere edilmeyen sa¤ taraf ile karfl›laflt›r›ld›.
