The Alash Movement
The "Alash" movement was by the result of national liberation struggle, the purpose of that was to create an independent Kazakh state. The wars and the revolutions intensified the attempt of Kazakh intelligentsia on protection of the rights of indigenous peoples against colonial oppression. The merit of "Alash" is that they did a great job on restructuring of the social system to protect its political, social and economic interests.
