Odontojen keratokist nedeniyle hemimandibulektomi yapılan hastada oluşan defektin kondil başlı rekonstrüksiyon plağı ile onarılması: Bir olgu sunumu

Keratokistik odontojen tümörler, iyi huylu gelişimsel çene tümörlerinden olup odontojenik keratokist olarak da bilinirler. Bu lezyonlar lokal agresif özellikte olup nüks etme potansiyeli de yüksektir. Tedavileri küretaj, enükleasyon ve marsüpyalizasyon / dekompresyon gibi konservatif yöntemlerden periferal ostektomi, kimyasal koterizasyon, kriyoterapi ve rezeksiyon gibi radikal yöntemlere değişiklik gösterir. Biz bu çalışmamızda hemimandibulektomi sonrası kondil başlı rekonstrüksiyon plağı ile restore edilen bir keratokistik odontojen tümör olgusunu sunduk

Keratocystic odontogenic tumors, benign developmental jaw tumors are also known as odontogenic keratocysts. These lesions are locally aggressive and have a high recurrence potential. Treatment methods vary from conservative met hods such as curettage, enucleation, and marsupialization/ decompression to radical methods such as peripheral osteotomy, chemical cauterization, cryotherapy, and resection.
