Kraniyal nöropati sistemik lupus eritamotozuslu (SLE) hastalarda nadir olarak görülür. Biz tekrarlayan fasiyal sinir paralizisi ataklarıyla tanı konulan SLE’li bir çocuk hastayı tanımladıkÖyküsünde altı defa periferik fasiyal sinir paralizisi mevcuttu. Hastaya prednizolon ve hidroksiklorokin tedavisi başlandı ve hastanın bulgularında üç haftada tam düzelme gözlendi. İzleminde tekrarlama olmadı. Biz şimdiye kadar tekrarlayan fasiyal paralizi ile başvuran, bildiğimiz ilk pediatrik SLE hastasını bildirdik.

Cranial neuropathy is a rare occurrence in pa- tients with systemic lupus erythematous (SLE). We described that diagnosed with recurrent symptoms of facial nerve paralysis is pediatric case with SLE. Her past medical history was six times peripheral facial paralysis. The patient was given prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine with complete resolution of her symptoms within three weeks. She had no recurrence in follow up time. We believe this is the first report of SLE presenting as recurrent facial palsy in children.
