Postmenopozal Servikal Stenoza Sekonder Gelişen, Pelvik Kitleyi Taklit Eden Hematometra ve Yönetimi

Hematometra servikal kanal altında kalan alt genital traktın her hangi bir seviyede ki obstrüksiyonuna bağlı olarak, kanın uterin kavitede birikmesi sonucu oluşan, distansiyonun derecesi ile alakalı olarak pelvik ağrının eşlik ettiği önemli bir klinik problemdir. Bu durum nadiren de olsa pelvik apse, over tümörü, over torsiyonu, fallop tüpü torsiyonu, pelvik rabdomyosarkoma gibi pelvik kitle yapan diğer patolojilerle karışabilmektedir. Bizim olgumuzda, USG'de adneksiyal kitleyi taklit eden hematometra vakası tartışılmıştır

Haematometra Secondary to Postmenopausal cervical Stenosis, mimicking Pelvic Mass and Its Management; A case report

Objective: Haematometra is an important clinical problem as a result of obstruction of the lower genital tract under cervical canal and secondary accumulation of blood collects in the uterine cavity. In relation to the degree of distention pelvic pain can be companied to that problem. This condition may rarely be confused with other pathologies that cause pelvic mass such as pelvic abscess, ovarian tumors, ovarian torsion and torsion of the fallopian tube. In this paper a case where haematometra is mimicking an adnexal mass will be discussed.
