Polikistik sendromlu (PCOS) hastalarda over hacminin değerlendirilmesi
Amaç: Polikistik Over Sendromlu (PCOS) hastalarda ultrasonografi ile Over hacminin değerlendirilmesi ve tanıdaki yerinin araştırılması. Hastalardan 40'ı PCOS (Polikistik Over Sendromlu), 40'ı kontrol grubu olarak ayrıldı. Tüm hastalara ultrasonografik inceleme yapılarak over hacmi değerlendirildi.
The evaluation of ovarian volume in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective: The value of the ultrasonographic evaluation of the ovarian volume on the diagnosis among the polycystic ovary syndrome. Materials and Methods: Eighty patient who admit to infertility and gynecology department of Zeynep Kamil Women's and Children's Teaching Hospital through August 2001 and August 2002, were recruited. The ultrasonographic evaluation were applied to all of the patients. Results: Mean right and left ovarian volume were 11,75 + 5,3 cm3 and 11,16 ± 4,03 cm3 in the Polycystic ovary syndrome. In the control grup that value were 8,33 ±3,7 cm3 for the right and 6,93 ± 2,68 cm3 for the left ovary. The difference among the patient and con-trol groups was significant. (p
