QR Code Applications in Designing Mathematics Learning Activities
The aim of this study was to investigate pre-service mathematics teachers’ views on integrating QR code technologies into their activity
designing process. In this study, case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The participants of the study were 20 preservice
mathematics teachers who enrolled within a teacher education program. According to the findings, pre-service teachers integrated
QR codes by adding games and exercises they prepared with Web 2.0 tools, animation-video, infographics and posters. They also stated
that they want to use QR codes in their lessons to make their lessons interesting, to enrich the content, to have extracurricular studies and
to keep up with the technology era. They also explained that there are some limitations to the use of QR codes in mathematics lessons.
