Bilgiyi Paylaşmak: Biyomedikal Alanda Bilimsel Makale Yazım Kuralları ile İlgili Derleme

Bilimsel yayınlar her araştırmacı için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bilimsel çalışma sonuçlarının geniş kitlelerle paylaşılması bilgiyi arttırıp konunun anlaşılmasını sağladığı gibi kendi alanında yeni çalışmaların yapılmasına da öncülük eder. Ayrıca saygın yayınlar üretmek araştırmacıların mesleksel ilerlemesine katkıda bulunur. Bilimsel çalışma verilerinin ve sonuçlarının yeterli şeklide sunulmaması makalenin dergi editörleri ve hakemler tarafından reddedilmesine ya da yayın kalitesinin düşük olmasına neden olacaktır. Bilimsel makale yazma sanatı bu kadar önemli olmasına rağmen bu konuya ait eğitim programları yüksek öğretim müfredatlarında yeterince yer almamaktadır. Bu makalede özellikle yazma sürecinin başında olan öğrenci ve genç akademisyenlere bilimsel yazı yazma konusunda bazı temel bilgilerin sunulması amaçlanmaktadır.

Sharing the knowledge: A review of fundamentals of scientific writing

Scientific publications are of very high importance for every young researcher. Sharing the results of scientific work with a broad audience enhances knowledge and understanding of the topic as well as it might stimulate further research within the field. Furthermore, well respected publications are the foundation of career advancement for each individual scientist. Poor presentation of data and results often causes manuscript rejection from journal editors and scientific reviewers and might lead to low impact publication or no publication at all. Despite that correlation the art of scientific writing is rarely part of our curricula for higher education. This article addresses the young scientists and is meant to provide some basic recommendations on scientific writing as a starting point for the development of a proper scientific manuscript.
