THE RELATIONSHIP OF BETWEEN NARCISSISTIC PERSONALIY, SELF CONSTRUAL AND STRATEGIC THINKING IN ORGANİZATIONS

In recent years there has been an increase in studies investigating the relationship between personality traits and organizational events. Narcissism has also been suggested as a personality trait that influences both interpersonal relations and managerial decisions in the organizational context by determining the perception of the individual and others. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the narcissistic personality trait and the self-construal and strategic thinking skills. Along with research that focuses on the negative aspects of the narcissistic personality in the literature, research that reveals the relationship between narsistic personality and organizational skills are very few. The sample of the research is the employees of thermal tourism enterprises in Afyonkarahisar. The data collection tool is a questionnaire consisting of narcissistic personality inventory, self-criticism scale and strategic thinking skill scale. According to the findings, it was shown that the expected variables were the relations, but the relations were not significant. When the research sample is expanded, it is assumed that the findings will contribute to the literature.
