Yoğun bakımda beyin ölümü gelişen bireyin hemşirelik bakımı

Yoğun bakımda iyi bir tedavi ve bakım ile organ bağışından en üst düzeyde yararlanılarak nakil sonrası sorunlar önlenebilir. Bağışlanacak olan organın canlı kalması doğrudan doğruya iyi korunmasına bağlıdır. Bunun için donör adaylarının izlemi bilgili ve deneyimli bakım ekibi üyeleri tarafından gerçekleştirilmelidir. Bakım ekibi içerisinde hemşire kritik rolü gereği nakil anına kadar donörü korumak, tüm yaşamsal işlevlerini kontrol etmek ve aileye bakım vermekten sorumludur. Potansiyel organ donörünün hemşirelik bakımı karmaşık bir süreçtir, her zamankinden daha fazla bilgi, beceri ve manevi yeterlilik gerektirir. Bu çalışmada yoğun bakımda beyin ölümü gerçekleşen donör adayı hastanın hemşirelik bakım süreci açıklanmıştır.

Nursing care of the individual whith brain death in intensive care unit

With good treatment and care in intensive care unit, post-transplant problems could be prevented by using organ donation at the highest level. The survival of the organ to be donated depends directly on its good protection. Therefore, the follow-up of donor candidates should be performed by knowledgeable and experienced maintenance team members. In the care team, due to their critical role, nurses are responsible for protecting the donor, controlling all of his vital functions and providing care to the family until the transplantation. The nursing care to potential organ donors is a complex process and requires better skills and emotional maturity, which are not always present. In this study, the nursing care process of the potential donor in the intensive care unit is explained.
