Bu çalışmada Karapınar Yaylası (GD Şereflikoçhisar) güneyinde gözlenen Asmaboğazı formasyonu'nda kavkı kenarındaki ekvatoral localar arasında yeralan bir makrosferik embriyon içeren Orbitoides medius (d'Archiac) ferdiyle makrosferik şizontun aseksüel çoğalması tanıtılmaktadır. Burada, ekvatoral loca dizilimine dik bir konum sunan bu makrosferik embriyon, ana ferdi terketmeden önceki durumu sergilemektedir. Türkiye'nin değişik yörelerinde gözlenen makrosferik şizont'un aseksüel çoğalması ile ilgili farklı bir konum ortaya koyan bu örnek, orbitoidal foraminiferlerde ve özellikle Orbitoides medius (d'Archiac)'da bu tip çoğalmanın varlığını kanıtlamaktadır.

In this study, a macrospheric schizont of Orbitoides medius (d'Archiac) having asexual reproduction is presented. The sample was taken from the deposits of the Asmaboğazı formation croppingout in the south of Karapınar Yayla (SE Şereflikoçhisar). A megalospheric embryo observed within the parental equatorial chamberlets is vertical in position towards the periphery. It presents the initial place before leaving of the embryo from the parental test. The individual clearly shows an asexual reproduction of Orbitoides medius (d'Archiac). The difference between this individual and the previous asexual reproduction examples from the various localities of Turkey is the embryon position.
