Amanoslar bölgesi Paleozoyik kayaçlarının mineralojisi

Amanoslar bölgesine ait Prekambriyen-Triyas yaşlı istif; başlıca klastik ve karbonat kayaçlar ile bunların çok düşük dereceli metamorfik eşdeğerlerinden oluşmaktadır. Bunlar kalsit, dolomit, kuvars, feldispat, götit ve fillosilikat (illit, klorit, kaolinit, paragonit, paragonit-muskovit, smektit, illit-klorit, klorit-vermikülit ve klorit-smektit) mineralleri içermektedir. Kuvars ve feldispat miktarı sırasıyla Zabuk ve Sadan, kalsit Hasanbeyli ve Çanaklı, dolomit Koruk formasyonunda en yüksek düzeye ulaşmaktadır. İllit tüm birimlerde ve bol miktarda bulunmakta; klorit Sadan, Sosink ve Hasanbeyli; kaolinit az miktarda Zabuk ve Koruk ve Seydişehir; illit-klorit Sadan, Seydişehir ve Kızlaç; klorit-vermikülit Seydişehir, Kızlaç ve Akçadağ; klorit-smektit ise Sadan ve Sosink formasyonlarında artmaktadır. Paragonit ve paragonit-muskovit yalnızca Kızlaç ve Akçadağ formasyonlarında gözlenmektedir. İllit ve IIb kloritler büyük ölçüde ankimetamorfik, kısmen de geç diyajenetik ve epimetamorfik kristalinite derecesine sahiptir. İllitlerin b0 parametresi birimler için ayırt edici olup, Seydişehir ve daha yaşlı birimlerde yüksek, buna karşın daha genç formasyonlarda (Kızlaç, Hasanbeyli ve Cudi) daha düşük değerler ölçülmüştür. 2M1 illitler tüm birimlerde, 1M Prekambriyen-Ordoviziyen (Sadan, Zabuk, Koruk, Sosink ve Seydişehir), 1Md ise Devoniyen’de (Hasanbeyli), daha az da Prekambriyen-Ordoviziyen’de gözlenmektedir. Klorit ve klorit-aratabakalı minerallerin arttığı seviyelerde feldispatların da artması volkanik beslenme ile ilişkili olup, bu birlikteliğe 1M illitler eşlik etmektedir. Mineralojik özelliklerin kalınlığa veya jeolojik yaşa göre düzenli bir dağılım sunmaması ve bazı formasyonlar arasında ani değişimlerin gözlenmesi, bunun diyajenez/metamorfizma derecesinden ziyade, büyük ölçüde köken kayaç ve jeodinamik evrim ile ilişkili olduğunun göstergesidir. Pasif kıta kenarı ortamındaki çökelmeyi temsil eden istifte; Prekambriyen Sadan formasyonu sıkışmalı, Ordoviziyen Bedinan formasyonu ve Devoniyen Akçadağ formasyonları ise açılmalı havzalara özgü mineralojik karakteristiklere sahiptir. İstifin Alt Paleozoyik kesimi mineralojik açıdan, Doğu Toros Otoktonu (Geyikdağı Birliği) istifindeki eşdeğerlerine benzer, buna karşın Devoniyen-Triyas kesimi Toros Kuşağı birlikleri ve Hazro bölgesindeki Güneydoğu Anadolu Otoktonu’na ait eşdeğerlerine göre farklıdır
