TEKİ HESABA KATMAK: LEIBNIZ’DE BİREYSELLİK, OLAY ve GÜÇ
Bu yazıda Hegel’in, Spinoza tersine Leibniz’in felsefede öznellik ve bireysellik alanını açtığı yönündeki iddiasından hareket ediyorum. Leibniz’in felsefe tarihindeki öneminin özellikle bu noktaya dayandırılmasının ne ölçüde haklı olduğu sorunundan hareketle de, Leibniz’de “tek olan”ın, bireyselleşme, tekillik ve monad kavramları çerçevesinde hesaba katılması gerektiğini ortaya koymaya çalışacağım; bu anlamda da, Deleuze’ün Leibniz yorumundan da faydalanarak, bu bireyselliğin fark ve çokluk alanına olanak sağlayan “olay” düşüncesiyle birlikte düşünülmesi gerektiğini iddia edeceğim. Öte yandan, Leibniz’in felsefe tarihindeki asıl öneminin, onun tek olanı hesaba katarken, bunu bir güç, değişim ve gelişim çizgisi çerçevesinde yapmasından kaynaklandığını göstermeye çalışacağım.

Thinking The Single Individual: Leibniz on Individuality, Event and Force
In this writing I started from Hegel’s claim which argues that Leibniz, on the contrary to Spinoza’s philosophy, introduces an area of subjectivity and individuality in philosophy. Starting from a questioning about whether this claim is right or false which claims that Leibniz’s importance in philosopy is based on this fact, I will try to put forward that the “single individual” in Leibniz must be take into account in relation with another concepts such as individuality, singularity and monad and in this sense, it should be thought that, using Deleuze’s interpretation on Leibniz, this individuality is also related with an idea of “event” which makes possible an area of difference and multiplicity. Besides, I would like to state that Leibniz’s importance in the history of philosophy is based on the fact that he takes into account the “single individual” in a framework of some concepts as “force”, “change” and “progress” which will have been significative in the history of philosophy after him.
