Buzağı coccidiosis'inde bazı pıhtılaşma parametrelerinin belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada, doğal enfekte coccidiosis’li buzağılarda tam kan sayımı ile trombosit sayısı, protrombin zamanı (PT), aktive edilmiş kısmi tromboplastin zamanı (APTT) ve fibrinojen gibi bazı pıhtılaşma pa- rametrelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada yaşları 2 hafta ile 6 ay arasındadeğişen toplam 30 adet buzağı kullanılmıştır.Bu hayvanların 15’i sağlıklı buzağı grubunuoluştururken, 15’i coccidiosis’li buzağı gru- bunu oluşturmuştur. Hayvanların klinik mu- ayenesini takiben parazitolojik muayene içintekniğine uygun olarak dışkı numuneleri top-lanmıştır. The determination of some coagulation parameters at calves cocciodiosis

In this study was aimed to the determination of a complete blood count, platelet-function and some coagulation parame- ters; protrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and fibrinogen at calves coccidiosis. In this study, 30 calves, aged betweenweeks to 6 months were used. Fifteen of these animals were allocated as healthy calves group, while the other 15 consisted of calves group with coccidiosis. Fecal samples for pa- rasitological examination were collected from calves after clinical examinations of the ani- mals. Eimeria spp. oocysts were seen in the fecal samples of the all calves with coccidio- sis. At the laboratory examinations, it were de- termined to decreased erythrocyte (p<0.001) and hematocrit parameters (p<0.05), increased mean corpuscular volume (MCV) parameters (p<0.01) and fibrinogen levels (p<0.05), pro- longed PT and APTT. As a result of this study, increased fibrino- gen, prolonged PT and APTT parameters is showed disseminated intravascular coagulati- on occurred at calves with naturally infected coccidiosis. 2
