Hayvan Orijinli Escherichia coli Suşlarının Enterotoksin Tiplerinin (LT,ST) Belirlenmesi

Bu çalışmada, farklı hayvan türlerinin (koyun 20, buzağı 18, köpek 16, bıldırcın 15, sığır 14, devekuşu 12, kuzu 11, martı 10, tavuk 10, hindi 9, kedi 8 ve güvercin 7) dışkılarından izole edilmiş ve tavşan ince barsak ligatür tekniğiyle enterotoksijenik olduğu belirlenmiş olan 150 enterotoksijenik Escherichia coli (ETEC) suşunun enterotoksin tiplendirilmesi amaçlandı. Isıya dirençli (ST) toksin tipinin saptanmasında E. coli ST enzim immunoassay (EIA), ısıya duyarlı (LT) toksin tipinin belirlenmesinde ise VET-RPLA ticari kitleri kullanıldı. ETEC pozitif 150 E. coli suşunun koyun 1 (%5) ST, 1 (%5) LT; buzağı 6 (%33.3) ST; köpek 1 (%6.2) LT; bıldırcın 1 (%6.7) LT; sığır 1 (7.1) ST; kuzu 1 (%9.1) ST, 1 (%9.1) LT ve kedi orijinli 1 (%12.5) ST olmak üzere 10 (%6.7) tanesi ST ve 4 (%2.6) tanesi de LT açısından pozitif bulundu. Devekuşu, martı, tavuk, hindi ve güvercinlerden izole edilen ETEC suşlarının hiçbirinde ST ve LT saptanmadı. Sonuç olarak martı, bıldırcın, deve kuşu ve güvercin gibi kanatlı hayvan türlerinden izole edilen E. coli suşları ısıya dirençli ve ısıya duyarlı enterotoksin tipleri açısından ülkemizde ilk kez bu çalışma ile incelendi
