“SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR REKABET ÜSTÜNLÜĞÜ” KAVRAMI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

“Sürdürülebilir rekabet üstünlüğü SRÜ ” kavramı stratejik yönetim alanında belki de en sık kullanılan kavramdır. Ancak, onu açıkça tanımlama girişimleri oldukça sınırlı olmuştur. Dolayısıyla, sürdürülebilirliğin tam olarak ne anlama geldiği açık değildir. Bu çalışmada, SRÜ kavramına açıklık getirmek amacıyla; SRÜ kavramının tanımı, SRÜ’nün uzun dönemli daha iyi finansal performansla ilişkileri, değişik yazarlara göre SRÜ’nün kaynakları ve SRÜ’nün ekonomi alanındaki yeri literatür taramasına dayalı olarak incelenmiştir. Böylece, SRÜ kavramına ilişkin anlayışın zenginleştirilerek, yöneticilerin SRÜ arayışlarında daha etkili olmalarına yardımcı olmak amaçlanmıştır.

AN INVESTIGATION ON “SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE” CONCEPT

“Sustainable competitive advantage SCA ” concept is perhaps the most widely used concept in strategic management field. On the other hand, attempts to describe it clearly have been very limited. Thus, what exactly sustainability means is not clear. In this study, for the purpose of making SCA concept clear; definition of SCA concept, relationships between SCA and long term superior financal performance, sources of SCA according to different authors, and the place SCA has in economics have been examined by reviewing the literature. Thus, the aim of this paper is to enrich understanding of SCA concep,which will help managers in their search for SCA efforts
