Tarih boyunca çok geniş bir coğrafyada yaşayan Türk milleti için bağımsızlık, Türkmilletini tanımlayan temel kelimelerden biridir. Engin bir edebiyat birikimine de sahip olanTürk milletinin şair ve yazarları bağımsızlık temini eserlerinde sıkça işlemişler, ancak bu temikimi zaman olduğu gibi kimi zamanda çeşitli sembollerle anlatmışlardır. Bu bağlamda “uyan”fiili de bağımsızlığa, her türlü kötülüğe karşı koymaya ve her alanda ilerlemeye yol gösterenbir simge olmuştur. Bu simge Doğu Türkistan’dan Anadolu’ya pek çok Türk şairin şiirinde vegeniş bir coğrafyada karşımıza çıkar. Biz makalemizde bu geniş coğrafyada “uyan”metaforuyla şiirler veren şairlerin şiirlerini ve bu şiirleri meydana getiren ortak duyguyu ele alacağız

Independence is one of the very words that define the Turks, who have lived on a vastgeography through the history. The authors and poets of the Turks, who have a rich literature,have used the independence theme in their works frequently. They have used this theme,however, sometimes directly and sometimes with symbols or metaphors. In this context, theverb “wake up” has been a symbol for independence, struggling against any evil or advance inany field. This symbol can be seen in the works of a number of poets on the wide geographyfrom the Eastern Turkistan to Anatolia. In our article, we will analyze the poems of the poetsusing the metaphor “wake up” and the common emotion that created these poems
